Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield Hollow Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Anchorage, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
