Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Anchorage, AK)

Clearpath Meridian Foods is a Anchorage food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
