Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Wren Transit Planning Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
