Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Virginia Beach, VA)

Lumen Clear Inspection Services is an inspection company in Virginia Beach with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
