Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind Rowan Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Virginia Beach, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
