Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Virginia Beach, VA)

Westbrook Corner Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
