Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Tulsa, OK)

Bright West Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
