Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Tucson, AZ)

Ironwood Linden Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Tucson plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 121 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
