Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Harbor Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
