Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Toledo, OH)

Highbridge Yarrow Foods Partners is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
