Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (St. Louis, MO)

Harborlight Juniper Foods Group produces packaged foods at its St. Louis plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 134 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
