Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Spokane, WA)

Lumen Forge Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Spokane region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
