Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Spokane, WA)

Fernwood West Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Spokane. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for usage data and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
