Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Seattle, WA)

Bright Junction Manufacturing is a Seattle manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 468 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
