Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Seattle, WA)

Westbrook Meridian Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 134 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
