Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Savannah, GA)

Westbrook Cedar Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Savannah working with agencies and riders, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
