Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (San Jose, CA)

Clearpath Quarry Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near San Jose. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
