Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Forge Energy and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
