Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Wren Facilities is a facilities company in San Diego with crews on day and night shifts, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for safety inspections and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
