Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (San Antonio, TX)

Nova Ivory Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around San Antonio, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
