Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (San Antonio, TX)

Amberfield West Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in San Antonio working with agencies and riders, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
