Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (San Antonio, TX)

Silverline Bright Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
