Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (San Antonio, TX)

Bright Hollow Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around San Antonio. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 74 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for contractor visits and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
