Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (San Antonio, TX)

Highbridge Forge Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
