Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (San Antonio, TX)

Northwind Summit Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts.
