Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Haven Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 80 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
