Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Salt Lake City, UT)

Highbridge Umber Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Salt Lake City, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 593 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
