Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Salt Lake City, UT)

Bright Quill Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 83 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
