Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Salt Lake City, UT)

Greenridge Beacon Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Salt Lake City and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
