Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Salt Lake City, UT)

Cedar Keystone Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Salt Lake City. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 180 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
