Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Sacramento, CA)

Bluepeak Iron Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
