Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Sacramento, CA)

Nova West Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Sacramento region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
