Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Richmond, VA)

Bright Rook Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
