Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Richmond, VA)

Bright Meadow Water Authority Partners supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Richmond and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality.
