Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Richmond, VA)

Foxglove Keystone Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Richmond. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
