Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Reno, NV)

Nova Junction Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Reno region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 720 people based in Reno. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
