Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Reno, NV)

Cedar Hollow Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Reno. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Reno. What you will do • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
