Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Forge Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Reno with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
