Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Reno, NV)

Ironwood Vale Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Reno plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 944 people based in Reno. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
