Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Lakeside Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
