Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Bluepeak Sable Manufacturing makes precision components in Reno. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
