Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Bluepeak Keystone Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Chicago working with agencies and riders, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
