Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Lumen Orchard Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
