Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Silverline Lantern Construction Group is a Sacramento contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 74 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
