Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Foxglove Summit Manufacturing is a San Jose manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
