Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Harborlight Basin Foods produces packaged foods at its Richmond plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
