Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Stone Farms Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
