Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Silverline Lakeside Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Raleigh design routes and schedules. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
