Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Northwind Meridian Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Providence, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
