Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (remote)

Redstone Cedar Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Indianapolis, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 150 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
